If you decided to spend the fall touched by the sun in the fantastic Barbados, mid-November is the time to get your belly ready, as some of the most acclaimed chefs will take a trip to this amazing destination for a festival that you’ll want to last forever.

From November 16th till the 19th, wine, rum and food will be the main temptations in the island. The festival was started in 2010 and it was immediately a success, attracting waves of tourists and leading the board of tourism to predict at least 10 years of life for this event.

This year’s lineup of international chefs will include names like Marcus Samuelsson and Aaron McCargo, Jr. Wine experts such as Joshua Wesson will help you choose the perfect wine for the perfect meal, picking from an incredible variety of “red and white” and paying particular attentions to those characteristics that are only known to the most refined palates. As for the rum, it has been a traditional Barbados’ export for over 350 years, Bajan rum is indeed considered to be among the finest around the world. Mixologist Chesterfield Browne will be happy to "accompany" you during the tour of the 1,500 rum shops around the island, to make sure your experience will be complete.

The festival will feature cooking demonstrations, lunches, dinners and rum/wine seminars and tour, as well as unforgettable parties.
